Rove Live

October 16th 2006 08:28
Rove Live is a weekly Australian television talk show hosted by Rove McManus. A very similar show featured initially on the Nine Network in 1999, under the name Rove, and ran for 10 episodes. However, Nine decided not to renew the program and the cast moved to Network Ten the following year to perform Rove Live.
Rove Live can be seen at 9:30pm on Tuesday night on Channel 10 in Australia and 9:30pm on Friday nights on TV3 in New Zealand each week.

The show usually has at least two guests and a live musical performance. Peter Helliar is the remaining sidekick on the show out of the original three. The other two were, Corinne Grant from 1999 ('Rove') through to 2005 and Dave Callan was also during 1999 and 2000.

In addition to Rove interviewing celebrities the show has many other popular segments including What the...?, Two Minutes at Your House, Sex Office and Ron's Movie Review to name a few.

This first clip is a popular celebrity interview with David Bowie.

Here we have Rove and Peter Helliar taking on a breakdancing challenge by the WickidForce crew. They’re not bad considering they only had a couple of hours practice.

A Rove live post wouldn’t be complete without the most popular guest of all time – Elmo!!
