Will I be too cynical if i suggest it was a setup?

Have you heard of those ultra low budget films people are making these days? They perform the scene in front of a CCTV camera and then claim the footage under some sort of privacy act or something to that effect. Then they put a whole movie together out of it.

This reminds me of that.

But still funny nonetheless.
