Pussycat Piano Prodigy - Meet Nora
September 25th 2008 07:30
This is Nora, she's a cat that thinks she's a musician. Her mum is a piano teacher and Nora started sitting at the piano when she was about one and watch the students being taught. This is not a trick she was taught, she obviously just thought it looked like fun. She's four now. She plays only when the mood strikes her, which is usually several time a times a day for short periods.
Mozart she isn't but you've got to admit this is one clever cat. Plus, she plays better than I can!
This was the original video that brought Nora to world media attention.
A DVD of Nora's YouTube videos in full-size (for the big screen) is now available on Amazon.com or on CreateSpace.com The three videos included on the DVD are "Nora: Practice Makes Purr-fect," "Nora: The Sequel," and "Nora Calls The Piano Tuner."

She seems to be forming a body much like Pavaratti's there, maybe she should try opera.

Hi Johnny, I hadn't seen the others either. I saw the original after an article ing the SMH a while back, I just thought I'd drag it back out for its cuteness factor. she's so sweet I think I'm getting a cavity just watching her.
Hi Gene, you should see my mum's cat, she resembles a baby seal she is so fat. Alas, she has no musical talent. Her talents seem to be eating and sleeping and then eating some more.
Thanks for the comments guys.

Absolutely amazing!
...and people still want to argue that cats are dumb, this is just so cute my face hurts from smiling.
Absolutely beautiful, thanks so much for sharing it (and all the vids on this site!)...
