How perceptive are you really?

This was a visual attention experiment conducted by Becklen and Cervone in 1983 to show that the human mind has its limits. Now make sure you watch the video closely. The human brain is an amazing thing but there is only so much the brain can process at a particular time. Now make sure you pay attention.

I was so busy watching the ball passes that I had to watch the repeats to see the lady with the umbrella.
It reminds me of a "management course trick" they used to do to highlight this very point.
You were asked to take off your watch. After doing so you were asked to descibe it. Do you know how difficult that is? If you are looking at something so many times a day, do you really compehend the detail?
I often walk past construction sites in my own area and wonder "what used to be there" even though I have walked passed it thousands of times. And I think I am reasonably observant.

Honestly, when I looked on this video clip, it reminds me of the Michael Jackson's song, "Its black, its white, it's going to drive me crazy! lol"
